Barbora Vacková

Barbora Vacková is a student of Comparative Literature and Interpreting at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University. Her research focuses on contemporary literature in the Maghreb region with a focus on current critical approaches such as decolonialism, feminist and queer studies. She specializes in the Francophone region, drawing in particular on the work of Pierre Bourdieu, Abdellah Taïa and Monique Wittig. She has completed a student programme in Bordeaux and, in addition to her research work, she also works as a translator and interpreter for non-profit organisations.

She has been a member of CEFRES since February 2025 and is dedicated to translation and communication.
