Results | Research and teaching fellowship at EHESS in Paris

As part of the cooperation agreement between EHESS, CEFRES, Charles University in Prague and the Czech Academy of Sciences, and the partnership between EHESS and CEFRES, concluded with the aim of intensifying Franco-Czech scientific exchanges in the field of humanities and social sciences, EHESS proposes the hosting of a teacher/researcher from a Czech academic institution for one month between February and June, or between October and December 2026, thanks to the support of the French Embassy in the Czech Republic.

CFA – French Government and Slovak Academy Of Sciences Joint Mobility Grant

The French Government and Slovak Academy of Sciences joint mobility grant for young researchers in the field of Humanities and Social Sciences, 2026

The French Embassy in Slovakia, the French Institute of Slovakia and the Slovak Academy of Sciences, in cooperation with the French Centre for Research in Social Sciences (CEFRES), are offering a programme to research mobility fellowships in the field of humanities and social sciences in France during the year 2026. This programme is intended for young researchers working in institutes and centres of the Slovak Academy of Sciences. The objective of this programme is to support Slovak-French cooperation in this field through a two-month research trip in France. Consequently, applications will be submitted individually by young researchers.

The objective of the programme is to create sustainable research synergies between French and Slovak partners working in collaborative networks on innovative and interdisciplinary research topics in humanities and social sciences.

Deadline for submission of applications: 16 February 2026

CFA | Oszkár Sárkány Fellowship 2025/2026

Fellowship for CNRS Humanities & Social Sciences & IAS CEU Budapest Fellows

Initiated in 2025, the Oszkár Sárkány fellowship commemorates a Hungarian Bohemist (1912–1943), working for a new inclusive and transnational perspective on cultural history with strong ties to French developments in humanities and social sciences, who died tragically young during World War II in a punishment battalion where he was sent because of his oppositional stance to the Horthy regime.

Central European University Institute for Advances Studies (CEU IAS) & Parisian Institut d’études avancées (Paris IEA) in partnership with the French Research Center in Humanities and Social Sciences (CEFRES) offer mobility grants to Budapest (for IEA fellows) and Paris (for CEU IAS fellows) starting from the academic year 2025/2026.

SCHEDULES

For IAS CEU fellows → Paris:

  • July 14, 2025: Opening of the call
  • September 15, 2025, 23:59 CET: Deadline for submissions
  • September 30, 2025: Publication of the results
  • Duration: 1 month in Paris
  • Suggested period of mobility: 2025/2026 academic year, preferably in Spring 2026

French Institutes for Advanced Study Fellowship Programme

The French Institutes for Advanced Study Fellowship Programme offers 10-month fellowships at the seven Institutes of Aix-Marseille, Cergy, Loire Valley (Orléans-Tours), Lyon, Montpellier, Nantes and Paris. It welcomes applications from high-level international scholars and scientists to develop their innovative research projects in France.

Application deadline: July 16th, 2025 – 6:00 pm

Applications are submitted online via www.fias-fp.eu where you will find detailed information regarding the content of the application, eligibility criteria and selection procedure.
