Yevhenii Tkachenko est professeur associé au Département de droit constitutionnel de l’Ukraine à l’Université nationale de droit Yaroslav Mudryi.
Ses centres d’intérêts scientifiques sont l’autorité et les pouvoirs publics, les droits de l’Homme, les droits des minorités, les relations nationales et ethniques, la citoyenneté, l’engagement civique et l’enseignement interactif. Il est l’auteur d’une centaine de publications en ukrainien et en anglais. Depuis 2022, il est cofondateur et membre de l’ONG « Association des éducateurs civiques » (Ukraine).
