Oleksii Ankhym est associate professor au département de philologie germanique et de littérature étrangère (Université d’État Zhytomyr Ivan Franko, Ukraine). Il a obtenu son doctorat en philologie en 2019 avec sa thèse intitulée « L’œuvre de création littéraire en tant que dialogue et interprétation (sur la base de l’oeuvre dramatique d’Helmut Baierl) ». Depuis 2022, il dirige le laboratoire scientifique et de recherche « Brecht Centre » à l’université d’État de Zhytomyr Ivan Franko, qui se spécialise dans la recherche, la traduction et la popularisation des œuvres de B. Brecht.

Il s’intéresse à la théorie de la littérature, à la littérature germanophone moderne et à la littérature transnationale. Il travaille actuellement sur sa recherche « Littérature transnationale : Conceptualisation, méthodologie de recherche, poétique (basée sur la littérature germanophone moderne d’auteurs d’origine ukrainienne) », qui vise à faire connaître à la société ukrainienne et mondiale les œuvres d’auteurs germanophones modernes d’origine ukrainienne. Les textes littéraires qu’ils ont créés représentent des récits transnationaux dont les thèmes sont les suivants : images de l’Ukraine et de l’étranger, migration, recherche d’identité, confrontation et acceptation d’une nouvelle culture, etc. Cette recherche élargit non seulement l’espace de réception du lecteur et de connaissance littéraire, mais permet également de mieux comprendre l’identité ukrainienne dans le monde et contribue à la recherche et à la formation de sa propre identité.
