CEFRES, Charles University in Prague (UK) and the Czech Academy of Sciences (AV ČR) are now united within a Czech-French scientific cooperation platform named “CEFRES Plateform”. It was founded by an agreement signed on November 21st, 2024 by the representant of the two Czech acedemic institutions, CNRS (National Center for Scientific Research) and the Embassy of France to the Czech Republic and inaugurated on the October 7th and 8th, 2015 (read the article about this inauguration).
On October 7th 2024, this agreement was renewed for five years (2024–2025) (see the article about the 10th anniversary and renewal of CEFRES Platform).
The Platform initiates common scientific programs. It supports scientific training for young researchers and the publishing of common academic research.
A steering committee gathers the three partner research institutions. It convenes three times a year.
