Marek Kettner

Marek Kettner studied philosophy at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University in Prague, where he also taught courses in contemporary philosophy during his doctorate. He focuses on the thinkers of the so-called Frankfurt School, such as W. Benjamin and T. W. Adorno, as well as on contemporary French thought, especially on the philosophy of G. Didi-Huberman and G. Deleuze. He has studied in Lille and Vienna and, in addition to his research work, has also worked extensively on Czech translations from French and German. He is currently working on a translation of Images In Spite of All by G. Didi-Huberman.

He has been a member of CEFRES since September 2024 and his work consists in translations and communication.
