CFA – TANDEM Program, CNRS / AV ČR 2024-2025

The French Research Center in Humanities and Social Sciences in Prague (CEFRES) in Prague, the French National Research Center (CNRS), and the Czech Academy of Sciences (CAS)  are launching the fourth call for applications for the TANDEM incubator program of the CEFRES Platform. TANDEM program endeavors excellency in social sciences and humanities by bringing together Czech and French colleagues to intensify scientific collaboration between our countries in the frame of European Research Area.

Cefres non-residential fellowships for Ukrainian researchers in humanities and social sciences (Українська нижче)

The French Center for Research in Humanities and Social Sciences (CEFRES) in close collaboration with the French Ministry for Foreign and European Affairs, the French Embassy and Institute in Ukraine as well as Czech partner institutions launches a program of non-residential fellowships for Ukrainian researchers in humanities and social sciences.

CNRS International Emerging Action / AVČR Mobility Plus – CFA 2022

CNRS International Emerging Action (IEA)

International Emerging Actions are PI-to-PI projects whose purpose is to explore new fields of research and international partnerships through: short-term mobility of scientists, the organisation of working meetings, and the initiation of early-stage joint research works for shared scientific projects. These actions have a duration of two years.

As a complement to the resources provided directly by participating teams, International Emerging Actions receive funds earmarked by the CNRS for international mobility between the laboratories
involved, for organising working meetings, and implementing field assignments between partners, for a total amount comprised between €10,000-€14,000 over the duration of the project.

CFA – TANDEM Project “Home beyond species: More-than-human dwelling in the age of crises”

Call for applications two–year post–doctoral research position at the Czech Academy of Sciences, Institute of Sociology in an international TANDEM project

Deadline for submission: 27 March 2022, online interview 28 March – 1 April 2022
Duration:  2 years – Starting summer 2022
Salary: up to 600.000 CZK per year (e. ca EUR 1.900 per month gross)

We are looking for an early–career post–doc researcher (no longer than two years after obtaining their Ph.D.) who would like to become part of our TANDEM research team for the time of up to 2 years, starting in summer 2022. The TANDEM collaboration is between Dr. Petr Gibas (Czech Academy of Sciences) and Dr. Chloé Mondémé (CNRS/CEFRES) based at CEFRES, Prague, Czech Republic.

CFA: Czech Interns from FF UK at CEFRES

It is possible to apply at any time of the academic year. The applicants must be French and/or English speakers.

Within its cooperation with the Faculty of Arts of Charles University, CEFRES can welcome MA or PhD students from this faculty as interns starting from the academic year 2016-2017. Internships last from one to three months and grant ECTS credits in the student’s curriculum (1 month-4 ECTS, 2 months-8 ECTS, 3 months-12 ECTS).
