Tým výzkumných pracovníků 2024–2025

Thomas Chopard

je historik a odborný asistent na École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales v Centru výzkumu historie (EHESS/CRH). Spolu s Petrou Hudek se přidává na dva roky k CEFRESu v rámci programu Tandem CNRS-SAV. Od června 2024 přitom bude čerpat z Podpory pro mezinárodní mobilitu (SMI) od CNRS. Společný výzkum Choparda a Hudek  Vizuální reprezentace, památníky a komemorace Druhé světové války ve střední Evropě v CEFRESu spadá do výzkumné osy III – Věci, stopy, mapování: prostor v jeho každodennosti.

je do CEFRESu delegována prostřednictvím CNRS od září 2023. Její výzkumný projekt, na kterém bude v CEFRESu pracovat, se věnuje současným debatám o redefinici norem rodičovství a mobilizaci rodin a matek v postsocialistickém prostředí a spadá pod druhou výzkumnou osu CEFRESu.

je sociolog, vědecký pracovník Sociologického ústavu Akademie věd ČR. Do CEFRESu nastoupil v únoru 2024 v rámci programu Tandem CNRS-AVČR společně s Gillesem Lepesantem. Jejich výzkumný projekt s názvem ” Zpochybňované transformace energetiky. Konflikty a sociální inovace v České republice, Německu, Francii a Polsku “ přispívá do CEFRES výzkumné osy II  – Normy a transgrese.

 je historičkou v Historickém ústavu Slovenskej akadémie vied na oddelenie najnovších dejín. Spolu s Thomasem Chopardem se v červnu 2024 na dva roky přidává  k CEFRESu v rámci programu  Tandem SNRS-SAV. Jejich společný výzkum Vizuální reprezentace, památníky a komemorace Druhé světové války ve střední Evropě spadá v CEFRESu do výzkumné osy III – věci, stopy, mapování: prostor v jeho každodennosti.

je socioložka a politická teoretička, odborná asistent na Fakultě sociálních věd Univerzity Karlovy v Praze. Od února 2024 působí v CEFRES v rámci Tandemu UK-CNRS společně s Louisou Martin-Chevalier. Jejich výzkumný projekt s názvem “Subalterna, která zpívá: Od zvukového odporu k hudební diplomacii na válčící Ukrajině” přispívá k CEFRES výzkumné ose I – Přemístění, vykořenění, odchýlení.

Výzva | Grant Oszkára Sárkányho 2025/2026

Fellowship for CNRS Humanities & Social Sciences & IAS CEU Budapest Fellows

Initiated in 2025, the Oszkár Sárkány fellowship commemorates a Hungarian Bohemist (1912–1943), working for a new inclusive and transnational perspective on cultural history with strong ties to French developments in humanities and social sciences, who died tragically young during World War II in a punishment battalion where he was sent because of his oppositional stance to the Horthy regime.

Central European University Institute for Advances Studies (CEU IAS) & Parisian Institut d’études avancées (Paris IEA) in partnership with the French Research Center in Humanities and Social Sciences (CEFRES) offer mobility grants to Budapest (for IEA fellows) and Paris (for CEU IAS fellows) starting from the academic year 2025/2026.

SCHEDULES

For IAS CEU fellows → Paris:

  • July 14, 2025: Opening of the call
  • September 15, 2025, 23:59 CET: Deadline for submissions
  • September 30, 2025: Publication of the results
  • Duration: 1 month in Paris
  • Suggested period of mobility: 2025/2026 academic year, preferably in Spring 2026

For CNRS fellows → IAS CEU Budapest:

  • July 20, 2025: Opening of the call
  • October 15, 2025: Deadline for submissions
  • October 25, 2025: Publication of the results
  • Duration: 15 days in Budapest
  • Suggested period of mobility: 2025/2026 academic year, preferably in Spring 2026

Výzva | Výzkumné granty v oblasti balkanistiky 2025-2026

Výzkumná stipendia pro francouzsky mluvící doktorand.k.y a mladé doktor.k.y (6 měsíců)

Le ministère de l’Europe et des Affaires Étrangères, le réseau des UMIFRE et le réseau des Écoles françaises à l’étranger (EFE – MESR) soutiennent la jeune recherche en études balkaniques en proposant des bourses de terrain d’une durée de six mois à destination de doctorant/es et jeunes docteur/es poursuivant des recherches dans ce domaine. Les boursiers et boursières seront accueilli/es dans un ou plusieurs des centres membres du réseau des UMIFRE ou EFE partenaires du programme (Institut Français d’Études Anatoliennes d’Istanbul (IFEA), École française d’Athènes (EFA), Centre français de recherche en sciences sociales de Prague (CEFRES), École française de Rome (EFR).

L’octroi d’une bourse de mobilité devra permettre aux doctorant/es ou jeunes docteur/es d’accomplir un travail de recherche de terrain en études balkaniques, en bénéficiant de l’environnement de recherche d’un ou plusieurs des quatre établissements concernés (bibliothèques et ressources documentaires, séminaires et encadrement de la recherche, réseau de partenaires dans les pays concernés). Paper Bonds
Bookmaking for Kin, Friends and Self in Contemporary Europe and the Middle East

A project developed within AV ČR-CNRS Tandem Program supported by the Czech Academy of Sciences, CNRS and CEFRES

ANNOTATION

The project explores self-made books and private bookmaking practices in contemporary Europe and the Middle East, focusing on their material, symbolic and social dimensions. Adopting a genealogical perspective, it examines how non-commercial publishing and book production shape relationships, express identity and responds to political and technological change. Drawing from the disciplines of anthropology, book history and sociology of literature, the project aims to reappraise the social significance of the print book in the era of digital publishing.
